Solar Assets Management (“Solar”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Tiago d'Aubigné, who is the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
Account details you provide (email address, and any name you enter for your account or the Entities within it); the property, financial and document data you choose to enter or upload; and basic site-visit analytics, described below.
Why we process it
To provide the service you've signed up for (performance of a contract), and to understand overall site usage so the service can be improved (legitimate interest). We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
A small number of processors host and run the service on our behalf, under their own data processing terms: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), and Sereno Analytics (site-visit analytics — see below). None of these processors are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Analytics
This site uses Sereno Analytics to measure overall visits and usage patterns at the domain level. It is not used to build individual advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is deleted within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for longer by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how your data is handled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above.
