Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Solar Assets Management (“Solar”, “we”, “us”), a property and asset tracking service operated by Tiago d'Aubigné. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms.
What the service is — and isn't
Solar helps you track property value, rent, tax obligations, deadlines and documents across your own portfolio. It records figures and dates you enter or upload — it does not calculate tax liability, file anything on your behalf, or constitute tax, legal, financial or investment advice. Always confirm tax and legal obligations with a qualified accountant or solicitor.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You must be legally able to enter into these terms to use the service.
Plans and payment
Solar currently offers several named plans. Selecting a plan records your preference on your account — it does not currently collect payment or enforce any feature restriction. If and when paid billing is introduced, these terms will be updated and you will be notified before any charge is made.
Your content
You own the property, financial and document data you enter into Solar. We don't claim ownership of it and only use it to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including any loss arising from tax or financial decisions made using figures recorded in it.
Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
